Niskala lives and works in Helsinki, Finland. Her projects vary from the large-scale to working with small groups.

Niskala leads a network organization called Meiju Niskala &People. Collaborators include renowned artists and visionaries of various disciplines.

During her 20 years career Niskala has built art pieces that has been participated more than 150.000 people.
